Labor of Love

This time of year, its just past Labor Day, and I was reflecting on my title: Labor of Love. I started out thinking about children going back to school, all the needed preparations, and the labor of love parents give to their children each day of their lives. And then I thought about my work, but more on that later.

I do not have children and am the oldest of six children in my family. I recall growing up that I did not want to have children. However, I have been fortunate to have been a part of the life of many, many children including 16 nieces and nephews and now their children; to be physically present at a many births and worked with many children in my former career as a nurse; and now to work with many children in my role as certified energy practitioner.

I discovered I LOVE children, they are so precious.

Children are so innocent when they come into this world. They are full of joy in their explorations of life. Most of us take delight in all the infant and child video’s we see on Facebook!

I am often asked if any of the energy healing modalities can work on children. Of course, they can and do! Children are very aware and sensitive to the world around them, more than we realize. They often pick up emotions and energies from parents or other close adults as toddlers, and during significant events growing up.

Children can be a challenge. But we can make things easier for them with energy work.

One seven-year-old child was struggling in school with staying focused and learning to read, and with speech. His mother said after the first session “my son made his own book, illustrated it and was so excited. He said, “I love reading!” He was trying to sound out new words”. After two more sessions, she said: “He is doing so much better. He can get through reading and homework without a meltdown or shutdown. Trying harder with reading and is so happy.

The teacher has great things to say about him and said when she announced a quiz, while others were moaning, my son made a happy gesture and said “Yes”! What a difference.” – JR

Children often respond to energy work more quickly than adults. The Emotion Code, The Body Code, T3 – Three Dimensional Therapy, Reiki, and Human Design are all great for children (of all ages)!

A parent’s permission is required to work on their child under the age of 18, at which time the 18-year-old is at the age of majority and can give permission for themselves.

Emotional and Behavioral issues

Children often are unable to verbalize the emotional pain they feel. For example, they may act out or withdraw and sulk. Releasing these energies help them feel good again. The need for behaviors may resolve.

Inner Child Imbalances

The Inner Child is the childlike aspect of your psyche, almost an independent entity or a child within your regular subconscious. Your Inner Child may get“stuck” at any age which may create emotional reactions without knowing why. We will do our best to remove imbalances which can help your Inner Child to heal and to feel heard. This can help all kinds of problems to lighten up or even disappear.

Vanishing Twin Syndrome

The Three Dimensional Therapy (T3) method is unique for its ability to find and treat this. If a parent is aware they have lost a twin during pregnancy it can help prevent what affects the child on both a conscious and subconscious level. The Vanishing Twin Syndrome is now being recognized and studied, but it is difficult to treat using more traditional methods.

Learning Disabilities

Mixed brain dominance and attention deficit (ADD or ADHD) often results when a person is using too much energy to keep emotions suppressed. It is as though their brain divides–part of it is used to cope with today, the other part to repress negative memories. Several clients have commented that they can think more clearly, that grades are improving in school, and they don’t feel so scattered after working with our method.

Human Design

The beauty of our individual chart is to understand how we are energetically hardwired at birth! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have this guide to your children (not to mention other significant people in your life)?

We often hear parents remark how different each of their children are. Could their Human Design go a long way to explain why? What if their Human Design held keys to help their parents support each child according to their differences, bringing out the best in each child?
